Notre Dame posts five first-place finishes and 11 top-3 showings Saturday afternoon at the Notre Dame Invitational

Welcoming a field of six strong track and field programs, the Fighting Irish are slated to host the Notre Dame Invitational Saturday at the Loftus Sports Center.

With a goal to dust off after a holiday hiatus from competition, the Notre Dame track and field team took on the Wisconsin Badgers Saturday afternoon in Madison, Wisconsin.

Notre Dame opens competition in the 2016 calendar year, traveling to Madison, Wisconsin for a dual with the Badgers.
